When planning an Algarve photoshoot, couples and families often wonder which option is right for them.
Not in terms of minutes, but in terms of location, variety, and the kind of story they want their photos to tell.
All my photoshoots are carefully planned.
The difference between the options is not how rushed or relaxed they feel — every session is calm and intentional — but how the experience is structured and how complete the final gallery will be.

Keeping Things Simple
Beach or cliffs — choosing one setting
Some photoshoots naturally unfold in one place.
It might be the beach, with open space and movement, or the cliffs, with a more intimate and dramatic feel.
When we stay in one location, the experience stays simple and uninterrupted.
There’s no pressure to move, no rush to “cover everything” — just time to settle in, let the light work, and allow moments to happen naturally.
The focus is always on what matters most: real connection, relaxed interaction, and the atmosphere of the place.
This approach works equally well for couples and families, especially if you already feel drawn to one specific setting.
This experience includes:
One main location (beach or cliffs)
A calm, well-paced session
A curated gallery of up to 30 carefully edited photographs
A consistent visual feel throughout the final images
Although this session is planned for up to 60 minutes, nothing is ever rushed.
Sometimes everything aligns quickly — light, energy, connection — and that’s often when the strongest photographs are created.

From Beach to Cliffs
Beach and cliffs — a wider visual story
Some sessions naturally benefit from a bit more space to unfold.
This experience allows us to combine both the cliffs and the beach, creating a broader and more varied visual story of your time in the Algarve. It’s not about doing more things — it’s about having room to let the session breathe.
Moving between locations happens calmly and intentionally, without rushing, allowing the light to change and the atmosphere to shift along the way.
This often results in a richer gallery, with different moods and perspectives, while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.
This experience includes:
Two locations (for example, cliffs and beach)
Time to move comfortably between spots
A curated gallery of up to 40 carefully edited photographs
More variety while maintaining a cohesive look and feel
This option works beautifully for both couples and families, including sessions with children, where having a bit more flexibility often makes everything feel easier and more natural.

About the story and the final selection
During a session, I usually capture several hundred images.
This gives space for real moments to unfold naturally, without pressure or forced poses.
From these, I carefully curate a strong selection of around 100+ photographs, which you’ll receive in a private online gallery. From there, you can choose your favourite 30 or 40 images, and I’ll personally edit each selected photo with great attention to detail.
My editing is natural and adapted to each moment.
It may change depending on the light, location, time of day, weather and outfits, so every gallery reflects the real atmosphere of the session.
The difference between the two experiences is never about quality — every delivered image receives the same care and attention.
What changes is the variety of moments and locations, and how complete the visual story feels in the final selection.

More photos, without changing the experience
If you already feel comfortable with the experience you’ve chosen, but would like to keep more images from the session, there’s no need to change how the photoshoot is structured.
After receiving your gallery, you can simply select additional edited photos if you wish. Extra images are available at €15 per photo, giving you flexibility while keeping the experience exactly as planned — whether it takes place in one location or across two.

Why don’t I offer Mini Sessions?
I don’t offer mini sessions.
Even when a photoshoot feels short, it is never designed to be a quick or reduced experience. Every session is planned to feel intentional, calm and well prepared, with time dedicated to the light, the location and the natural flow of the moment.
Most of the work happens before we meet — choosing the right location, planning the timing, and understanding the light and conditions of the day.
That preparation is what allows every Algarve photoshoot for couples and families to feel natural and effortless.
How to choose what is right for you?
A photoshoot focused on one location works beautifully if you already feel drawn to either the beach or the cliffs, and you enjoy a clean, consistent visual look. Staying in one setting allows the experience to flow naturally, keeping the focus on connection, light and atmosphere.
A photoshoot that combines two locations is a great option if you love variety and would like both the cliffs and the beach to be part of your story. It allows for different moods and perspectives, creating a richer visual narrative of your time in the Algarve.
There’s no better or worse option — just the one that feels right for you.
